A Peacemaking Curriculum
Peace is harmonious living and respect for life through God's guidance and prayer.

Strand 1 -Who God Is. This strand is the foundation for the curriculum. God is righteous, just, merciful and loving. There are three parts under this strand: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Strand 2-How we connect with God. Just as the trunk of a tree draws its life from the root and gives stability to the fruit and leaves; so our fellowship with God gives strength and life to the testimonies and peacemaking skills. We connect with God through Jesus Christ, Scripture, Prayer and Worship
Strand 3- The values (called Testimonies by Friends) that guide our lives. The values are like branches which support the peacemaking skills. Some of these values are Justice, Simplicity, Integrity, Equality, Community, Peacemaking
Strand 4- The practical skills for Peacemaking. These are the fruit of the tree and grow naturally out of our life with God. For example: Listening, Managing Emotions, Communication Skills, Problem Solving, Negotiating & Mediating, Leadership & Power
